German as a Foreign Language for Beginners and Advanced Students

The F+U Academy of Languages is one of the world leaders in teaching German as a Foreign Language. Throughout the year, students from all over the world attend intensive German courses with 20 or 30 lessons a week in small groups of five to twelve participants. Lessons are every morning from 9:00 to 12:15 and those students who wish to learn German more intensively can add individual lessons and/or attend conversation or business German classes in the afternoon.

New beginner classes start on the first Monday of each month. Advanced beginners and advanced students can join any existing class at any time after a short placement test to evaluate their knowledge of the German language in order to assign them to the right class.

Long-term students (approximately fifty per cent of all students) attend the exam preparatory courses for TestDaf (German Language Test) and DSH (German Language Test for the University Admission of Foreign Applicants) in order to study at a German university.

As the F+U is a recognized test center not only for TestDaF and DSH but for the most language exams worldwide, the exams take place on a regular basis at the school’s premises.
